I’m an Irish artist from Co. Cork, currently based in the UK. My artistic inspiration stems from a deep appreciation for ecology, marine biology, culture, street art, and graffiti. I express myself through various mediums, bringing my creations to life using tactile methods like paint, spray paint, print, and drawing, as well as integrating digital media and editing.
Beyond my identity as an artist, I am also an art teacher with over 10 years of experience in education and youth work. Throughout my journey, I’ve harnessed the power of creative expression as a mentoring tool. My passion extends to working closely with students who face diverse challenges, including those with social, emotional, and mental health issues, as well as special educational needs and disabilities.
As an advocate for integrating art and creativity into education, I firmly believe in its transformative potential. My experience has taught me that creative outlets not only develop artistic skills but also serve as therapeutic avenues for personal growth and healing.
I champion the creation of safe, positive, and encouraging spaces for young minds to explore and express themselves freely. I’m committed to making a difference through art, aiming for every individual, regardless of background or challenges, to find solace, inspiration, and empowerment through the universal language of creativity. In my ongoing mission, I seek to use art as a catalyst for positive change, fostering resilience, self-expression, and a sense of belonging among the youth I engage with.
